The Glass Hut can be booked all year round. The Glass Hut is fully insulated and heated, so that you can relax and enjoy your stay even in colder weather.
Check-in: after 14:00.
Check-out: no later than 11:00 on the day of departure.

Breakfast: A delicious breakfast made with local produce is included in the price of your stay.
Breakfast consists of sourdough buns and croissants from Pabst Bakery in Maribo. You will also receive organic skyr, butter, eggs, cheese, apple juice and jam from Fejø. Everything will be freshly available in your fridge at check-in. It takes approx. 15 min to heat the bread and boil the eggs.
Dinner: The Glass Hut is located in the true wilderness, but just a short drive away you’ll find a couple of great local restaurants and eateries. Although most restaurants will be open during high season, opening hours may vary even on weekdays, therefore we recommend checking in advance and reserving a table before you arrive. If you choose take-away, The Glass Hut is equipped with a combi-oven to heat your food.

Drinks: Tea from Perch and coffee capsules from Nespresso are freely available in The Glass Hut. In the fridge there is also a small selection of local beers, wines and soft drinks. Payment can be made in cash (DKK or EUR) or via MobilePay.
Linen & Towels: The bed is ready-made with hypoallergenic pillows and duvet. There are also towels and bathrobes in The Glass Hut.
Shower & Toilet: The Glass Hut has a private toilet and rain shower. In the bathroom, you will find hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion made by organic Danish brand Yrolí Skincare which you are welcome to use during your stay. Throughout The Glass Hut, including in the bathroom, there is underfloor heating. There is also a heated towel rack and hair dryer for your convenience.
Kitchen Facilities: The kitchenette is equipped with a combi-oven, refrigerator, kettle and Nespresso machine. You will find all commonly used kitchen utensils and cutlery, as well as milled salt and pepper, organic sugar and milk pods.
Curtains: There are pleated curtains across all of the glass walls, which can be drawn whenever you need privacy or a break from nature. However, there are is no cover on the glass roof, therefore if you are sensitive to light, please use the sleep masks which are available in The Glass Hut during the summer.
Flashlight: It can get very dark outside in the evenings. Inside The Glass Hut is a flashlight with a red beam, which is used to see outside in the dark while still maintaining night vision. The red light also protects the local wildlife, which can be blinded by traditional white flashlights.
Wi-Fi: There is high speed Wi-Fi in The Glass Hut.
Luggage: There is room for a smaller suitcases, such as hand luggage or a couple of backpacks inside The Glass Hut
Other Facilities: There is a bluetooth speaker which is free to use. You can also enjoy books about Denmark’s local forests and landscapes which are available during your stay.
Bring Your Own: A pair of bathing sandals / flip flops for use when you go to and from the outdoor jacuzzi.
Private parking is available 50 meters from The Glass Hut.
An 11kW EASEE charger has been set up by the car park, which can be activated via your MONTA app. You can also pay for your electricity consumption via the app.
If you plan to use the outdoor jacuzzi, it must first be filled with water and heated. It takes approx. 3 hours to fill and heat the water to 38-40 degrees C.
The jacuzzi is electronically heated and can be used year-round.
Remember to bring a pair of beach sandals / flip flops to use when going to and from the outdoor jacuzzi.
The kitchen is equipped with organic washing-up liquid, dish sponges and tea towels.
Please clean all crockery, cutlery and utensils before you check out.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at The Glass Hut.
Smoking is not allowed in or at the entrance to The Glass Hut.
If you do not comply with this rule, a fee of DKK 3,000 will be charged to cover extra cleaning services including washing all linen.
The Glass Hut is located close to a historic half-timbered house dating back to 1872, which has been fully renovated. While there are guests at The Glass Huts, the house will be uninhabited, to ensure you have total privacy and can enjoy the tranquility of the area.
Occasionally, you may spot hunters or the local farmer who owns the nearby fields.
